No Free Rides for Snitches

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE AUTHOR OF THIS BLOG. ANY WHO COMMITS A CRIME SHOULD BE PUNISH THEY WAY THE LAW ALLOWS IT. IF THE CRIMINALS HAS INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OTHER CRIME THEN THE LAW ENFORCERS SHOULD TAKE THAT INFORMATION AND GO GET THE OTHER CRIMINALS. PUSHING CRIMINALS FOR WHAT EVER CRIME THEY COMMITTED IS GREAT BECAUSE THEY LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES AND SO WHAT IF THEY HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER CRIMES.ALL WE CAN SAY IS THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFORMATION AND WE WILL USE , BUT YOU DID COMMIT A CRIME AND YOU HAVE TO BE PUNISH ACCORDING TO THE LAW.ENOUGH WITH THIS IF YOU HAVE INFO AND WE GIVE YOU A LESS AMOUNT OF PUNISHMENT , THEY WILL GO ON COMMITTING CRIMES AND WHEN THEY GET ARRESTED THEY WILL SAY THEY HAVE INFO FOR BIGGER CRIMES, SO THE CYCLE BEGins.

GAS

There is a very simple solution to lower gas prices across the country, but no politician is suggesting it. Democrats like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton talk about a "windfall" profit tax on oil companies, while Republicans offer up no viable solution. With gas prices over $3/gallon, the best and fastest solution to reduce the cost is to eliminate the federal and state taxes on gasoline!!! It's very simple. For every gallon of gas you pump, the federal government takes 18.4 cents. Then the state gets a piece of the pie. The worst offending state is New York, which takes a whopping 42.4 cents per gallon. The least offending state is Alaska, but even they take 8 cents per gallon. The combined average tax on the American consumer is 46 cents per gallon. Eliminate the gas tax completely and you will immediately reduce gas prices.
Of course we know that politicians would never, ever get rid of the gas tax. Democrats never reduce taxes and Republicans will never bring it up for fear of shining the spotlight on their beloved oil industry.
Politicians would rather tax something rather than eliminate a tax. I am a huge fan of Barack Obama, but if he decides to tax American corporations for making a large profit, which is what they're supposed to do, he should have his head examined. The windfall profit tax is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of. It is anti-capitalism and anti-American. It would set a precedent that allows a politician to decide how much profit is too much, which is a frightening thought.

Education funds for Sex Offenders

Education funds for Sex Offenders
The whole idea of giving sex offenders money for school is crazy, using the taxpayer’s hard working money to pay for free education for offender come on. I totally agreed with the author of the blog who knows if they spend the money on school, or on their personal desire, I would also give the money to a drug addict, because they are just using to feed their need to get that high.
I think that the government can come up with something way better do with this money. Instead of giving to the sex offenders let put in the health system for kids and families with low incomes or to families that can t pay medical bills for their children. I would rather have my hard working money go to the children rather to the ones that offenders!

Ending the WAR!

Ending the War
There are many reasons to vote for the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but the one of the most important reasons is ending the war in Iraq and bring our troops home. Hillary Clinton has a three step plan to get the troops out Iraq and to end the war. The first is Starting Phased Redeployment within Hillary's First Days in Office: which means to end our military engagement in Iraq's civil war and immediately start bringing our troops home. Hillary's first official actions as president would be to convene the Joint Chiefs of Staff, her Secretary of Defense, and her National Security Council. She would direct them to draw up a clear, viable plan to bring our troops home starting with the first 60 days of her Administration. She would also direct the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to prepare a comprehensive plan to provide the highest quality health care and benefits to every service member including every member of the National Guard and Reserves and their families. By drawing out this plan her actually stepping up to the plate and having e a plan to get the troops out of Iraq and stopping the war. Not only this has she having a healthcare planned for the troops and their families. Hillary Clinton second phase of the plan is Securing Stability in Iraq as we bring our Troops Home. As president, Hillary would focus American aid efforts during our redeployment on stabilizing Iraq, not propping up the Iraqi government. She would direct aid to the entities -- whether governmental or non-governmental -- most likely to get it into the hands of the Iraqi people. She would also support the appointment of a high level U.N. representative -- similar to those appointed in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Kosovo -- to help broker peace among the parties in Iraq. Her last stage of the plan is A New Intensive Diplomatic Initiative in the Region. In her first days in office, Hillary would convene a regional stabilization group composed of key allies, other global powers, and all of the states bordering Iraq. The- mission of this group would be to develop and implement a strategy to create a stable Iraq. It would have three specific goals:

• Non-interference. Working with the U.N. representative, the group would work to convince Iraq's neighbors to refrain from getting involved in the civil war.
• Mediation. The group would attempt to mediate among the different sectarian groups in Iraq with the goal of attaining compromises on fundamental points of disputes.
• Reconstruction funding. The members of the group would hold themselves and other countries to their past pledges to provide funding to Iraq and will encourage additional contributions to meet Iraq's extensive needs.
By Hillary putting out this three step plan to end the war in Iraq and to get the troops this attracts Americans to vote for Hillary Clinton because she a plan in motion and the first day in office she will put the three step plan in action.

Product saftey

U.S. Senate backs product safety overhaul

In this past year alone, more than 20 million toys have been recalled because they pose hazards to children. The CPSC, which is responsible for overseeing the safety of more than 15,000 consumer goods, employs fewer than 425 full-time staff, relies on antiquated testing facilities and employs just one full-time toy tester. There is a vote going on in the senate, the vote could mean a major boost in funding for the product safety commission and harsher penalties for companies that make hazardous products. A less expansive House bill, which had industry supportThe 79-13 vote could lead to a major expansion of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and stiffer penalties for companies that manufacture or distribute hazardous products. And it may mean broad new public access to information about potentially dangerous products before they are recalled. Manufacturers and retailers last year recalled more than 400 products, including millions of Chinese-made toys that contained lead paint, dangerous magnets or other hazards. The recalls sparked an intense effort on Capitol Hill to strengthen the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which has long had fewer investigative and enforcement tools than other federal regulatory agencies, such as the Food and Drug Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The bill authorizes a phased $60-million increase in funding for the agency to boost its budget to $142 million by 2015, which, adjusted for inflation, would put the agency close to where it was in its heyday in the late 1970s.The Senate bill would also create an Internet database where consumers could post and search for complaints about potentially dangerous products. When senate passes this bill on product saftey , they will be saving so many lives of childern and the general public . I do believe that there will be some holes in the system , some products may fall threw the cracks , but when they do the produce will get a harsher punishment.

Austin Presidential Debate

Austin presidential debate

The presidential candidates are in town, the national media have arrived at the University of Texas and the debate-watching parties are preparing to rev up all across Austin, Texas. As word spread of the presidential debate was going to be held in Austin there has been a big whole hoopla about it. I must admit it is pretty exciting to see the presidential debate in the city you live in. It very historic to be able to see this debate or even hear it, or to have the chance to see maybe the first African American or maybe the first women president. The thing that really bugs me is that they are only allowing a certain few in to see this debate. I think it’s only like 100 people and the rest is all dignitaries. They way I see it if you want to reach out to the people and make an impact on the nation at lest have it where that you can speak to a really big group of people so a lot more public can go and see this event. So, you wouldn’t have a lottery system to pick the certain 100 people that can go. Especially in a state that is Republicans, but in a resent poll more than 12,870 Democrats voted Tuesday and Wednesday, compared with about 2,675 Republicans, the county clerk’s office said. So buy this debate its bringing out all the democrats to vote and make a change. They want to get the republicans out of office, and start a new presidency under the democratic party . All i have to say is let the little people in.

Congress Approves Tax Rebates

President Bush plans give the ailing U.S. economy a boost, including tax rebates of at least $600 person. This plan is designed to be a "shot in the arm" for the flagging economy. The plan is to give $600 payments for individuals — $1,200 for couples — plus $300 for each child younger than 17. It will begin to phase out eligibility at $75,000 in adjusted gross income for individuals and at $150,000 for couples. Workers who can show $3,000 in earned income last year — too little to payincome taxes — would be eligible for $300. The checks will be sent separately from tax refunds. With this tax refund President Bush hopes that it will help the economy, to get consumer out there and buy and buy. With this rebate it sounds like it would help the US economy in a big way , but i see different. With people in so much debt and houses for forecloser people are not wanting to buy more expensive things that would out them more in debt. Yeah the money will help but not enough to bring us out of the real word is depression not recession. This article was well informed to tell us the reader what to expect for the tax rebates and what the government excpects from it also. So I hope that the american public spends the money what fits their needs.
